Job Description - Junior Execution Officer, Wealth Management

Responsibilities

My client is looking for an Execution Officer to join our team. In this role, you will help the Execution Manager handle daily execution desk duties, covering both client transactions and internal treasury activities.

Handle Orders: Execute client buy/sell orders for stocks and fixed income fairly, quickly, and accurately.
Provide Quotes: Give quick price updates and quotes whenever clients request them.
Data Entry: Key in transaction details into our system and keep the trade blotter updated.
Team Coordination: Pass trade tickets to internal processing teams before daily deadlines and coordinate client funding details.
Problem Solving: Follow up on any trade mistakes, discrepancies, or issues with other departments.
Market Tracking: Keep an eye on market updates, prepare basic market reports, and create simple management reports when needed.

Requirements

University graduate, preferably with a degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or Business.
At least 1 year of experience working in dealing, execution, or dealing support within the financial industry.
Having an SFC Type 1 license or passing HKSI Papers 1, 7, and 8 is a great advantage.
Having ECF-TM or TMA qualifications is a bonus. Candidates who do not currently possess the qualifications are expected to obtain after joining.
Good at using Microsoft Excel.
Good English communication skills , sharp attention to detail , and the ability to handle market pressure with minimal supervision.
