Job Description

Business Development & Mandate Origination
  1. Identify, originate, and convert new institutional opportunities, consistently achieving or exceeding annual revenue and mandate targets.
  1. Build a high-quality pipeline of opportunities across sovereign wealth funds, public and private pension funds, insurers, central banks, endowments, foundations, and government-linked institutions.
  1. Develop strategic coverage plans for priority markets and client segments, aligned with firm-wide growth objectives.


Campaign Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  1. Lead and coordinate complex RFP/RFI responses, consultant due-diligence processes, and final presentations.
  1. Partner closely with investment teams, product specialists, marketing, legal, compliance, and operations to deliver cohesive client solutions.
  1. Provide market intelligence to inform product positioning, messaging, and strategic planning.


Client Servicing & Retention
  1. Support and grow existing institutional mandates through proactive servicing and regular strategic engagement.
  1. Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for mandate expansion or cross-selling.


Market Intelligence & Product Development
  1. Provide feedback on market trends, competitor positioning, and emerging client needs.
  1. Contribute to the development and refinement of investment strategies and go-to-market initiatives.


The Successful Applicant
  • Strong track record in institutional distribution or institutional client engagement.
  • Solid understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and institutional investment frameworks.
  • Ability to lead complex processes such as RFPs and due-diligence cycles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
