Junior Operations Associate - Single Manager Hedge Fund

My client, an established Hong Kong‑based single‑manager hedge fund with an exceptional performance record is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Operations Analyst to join its team. About the Role

As a key member of the Middle Office / Operations team, you will work closely with investment, trading, compliance, and external partners to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operational execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical discipline, impeccable attention to detail, and an ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily fund operations, including trade capture, settlement processing (equities & derivatives), corporate action handling, and position reconciliations (including OTC options).
• Manage cash movements, payments, and financing monitoring, including coordination with administrators and prime brokers.
• Support margin monitoring, risk limit tracking, and basic risk reporting as required.
• Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, prime brokers, and internal teams to ensure operational accuracy and timely issue resolution.
• Support trade reconciliation, break resolution, and P&L verification activities.
• Assist in coordinating subscriptions, redemptions, and fund flow activities with fund administrators and clients.
• Contribute to system enhancement, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain meticulous operational records and assist with ad hoc projects as directed by senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, fund operations, trade support, or middle office
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Fluent in English (Mandarin or Cantonese a plus).
• Familiarity with OMS / PMS systems is advantageous but not essential.
