KYC & CDD Officer / Manager

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Conduct KYC review new client onboarding cases of individual and corporate clients (senior member will also handle checker role).
• Handle account opening preview process of corporate account opening request.
• Perform CDD/EDD procedures in accordance to AML/KYC regulations.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and handle enquiries about KYC & CDD issues, and liaise with Compliance, relationship managers and other senior stake holders for KYC approval.
• Ensure and delivery high standard of quality in the KYC files in adherence to the internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure all processes executed during the final overview of the KYC files are delivered per predefined SLA.
• Ensure timely escalation and own proposed course of actions to line management to address identified risks and blocking points during such processes.
• Develop a good understanding of the overall KYC operations process and act as a subject matter expert to support the team
• Embrace continuous changes and challenges; handle various initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned by line management.
• Handle KYC remediation project, KYC & CDD periodical review as per business needs and internal Compliance control requirement.
• Knowledge of FATCA and CRS tax compliance, perform FATCA and CRS classification, due diligence and assist the tax report preparation of KYC part.
• Senior member will assist KYC standard procedure review and update.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Well-developed interpersonal, problem-solving and influencing skills.
• Proactive team-worker, and exhibit high willingness to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Good verbal and written skills of English, Chinese and Mandarin.
• University graduate or related disciplines, preferably with at least 2 years relevant work experience of KYC/CDD and HKSFC regulated business.
• Fresh graduate of bachelor degree will also be considered for junior role.
• License to carry on HKSFC Type 1 & 4 regulated activities is a plus.
