L/C Checker

On behalf of an international commercial bank we are seeking a trade finance operations professional who has experience checking and administering Letters of Credit.

Role:

• Documents checking according to UCP & other international standard practices.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies related to bills transactions.
• Act as the final checker on import/export bills transactions.
• Follow up with rcounterparties for acceptance, payment and reimbursement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years' experience from within commercial banking and/or trade finance institutions.
• Good knowledge of UCP 600.
• Experience working with international trade financing is essential.
• Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) preferred. 
• Business level, or above, in both English and Cantonese.
