We are looking for a Lead Oracle DBA with deep expertise in AWS cloud ecosystems. In this senior role, you will be the technical authority for our Oracle database footprint, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle database administration, architecture, and performance tuning within the AWS cloud (RDS, EC2).
Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure Oracle database solutions on AWS.
Lead migration, consolidation, and modernization projects for Oracle workloads to the cloud.
Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex database issues, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
Communicate confidently and effectively with international engineering teams based in the U.S. and directly with enterprise customers to understand requirements, provide solutions, and deliver updates.

What You Bring:

10+ years of hands-on, in-depth experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
Proven, deep hands-on expertise running, optimizing, and migrating Oracle databases in AWS cloud environments (e.g., AWS RDS for Oracle, Oracle on EC2).
Expert knowledge of Oracle database architecture, backup/recovery (RMAN), performance tuning, and high-availability solutions (Data Guard, RAC).
Strong proficiency in automation and scripting (Shell, Python, SQL, PL/SQL) would be an advantage
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for cloud innovation and continuous improvement.
