The People team at Lalamove is responsible for building scalable people frameworks as the company continues its expansion globally. We are a next-gen people team who share the same passion for the people function and believe it is the single most important factor that drives the success of our company.
We are now seeking a Lead, People Operations, to join our team in the Functional Department based in Hong Kong to participate in scaling our operations globally.
What you will do:
- Oversee people operations by implementing practical processes that support our business goals
- Support leadership in maintaining strong people operations, including annual review process, HRIS review, system improvement and user training
- Devise strong people processes, working effectively with various verticals within People team, streamline workflows and reporting, utilise technology and automation to create efficiency across the employee life cycle
- Management reporting: Prepare monthly management reporting on key people data to facilitate workforce planning, staff costs analysis
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve processes, systems and reporting to enable robust decision making for management and key stakeholders
- Planning and execution of people processes and workflows that continuously deliver excellent employee experience
What you will need:
- Degree from a reputable university
- Minimum 6 years of experience in people operations
- Hands on people operations and administration expertise gained from MNC or enterprises
- Knowledge of people technologies supporting global operations
- You are ready, willing and able to work in a fast growing, constantly evolving scaleup
- You are comfortable operating fast and efficiently with minimal instructions
- Natural tendency and desire to ensure other people’s success
- Excellent communicator, energetic and strong presentation skills in small group settings or in front of a large audience
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required
