Lead Product Manager (Mobile App) - Leading Brokerage Firm

Our client is an APAC leading brokerage firm with strong presence in traditional finance. They are now actively looking for talents to join their Wealth Management Team as the Lead Product Manager for client Mobile App.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a wealth management professional with hands-on experience in developing client-facing financial applications. Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Ownership:
2. Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the wealth management mobile app, overseeing its journey from conception to launch and beyond.
3. Champion the end-to-end client digital experience with an emphasis on seamless trading, transparent position assessment, and relevant insights.
4. Lead the integration of essential features, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), to ensure security and a superior user experience.
5. Utilize industry trends and user research to introduce innovative solutions, such as AI-driven alerts and personalized content, to boost user engagement.
6. Hands-On Execution & Development Leadership:
7. Author detailed user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria.
8. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and engineering teams to transform vision into a deliverable product.
9. Drive the product development cycle by facilitating decisions, removing obstacles, and ensuring alignment to deliver a high-quality, user-centric app on time.
10. Stakeholder Management and Go to Market Iteration
11. Serve as the primary liaison between Business, Technology, Compliance, and Risk teams, securing buy-in and managing expectations.
12. Collaborate on rollout plans, user training, and communication strategies for new features.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: 5-8 years in wealth management/private banking and digital product management for customer-facing applications.
2. Expertise: Proven experience in building and launching a wealth management or brokerage mobile app, with in-depth knowledge of trading, portfolio analysis, and client reporting features.
3. Vendor Management: Hands-on experience managing technology vendors or external partners, with a solid track record of holding them accountable for detailed requirements and project timelines.
4. Technical Implementation: Direct experience implementing critical client-facing features like Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in a regulated environment.
5. Understanding of Wealth Management: Deep knowledge of the wealth management client journey, mobile UX best practices, and the competitive landscape.
6. Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage complex stakeholder groups, influence without authority, and lead effective change management.
7. Product Execution: Proven track record as a hands-on product driver in an agile environment; people management experience is secondary to expert-level product execution skills.
