Legal and Compliance Manager (Legal-oriented)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and advise on product documentation including contract templates, marketing materials and handle related issues;
• Provide legal support to business and operations including contract negotiation and dispute resolutions;
• Assist in handling tax compliance (FATCA/CRS) and company secretarial work for funds and investment vehicles;
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time eg. laid down, maintain and advise on internal control policy and procedures for relevant aspects; prepare management reports in Chinese etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree holder or above in Law, Risk Management, Business Administration, Accounting or related disciplines;
• Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong (solicitor or barrister) is a plus;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial industry;
• Excellent literacy in Chinese (in particular writing) ;
• High computer literacy i.e. Word, Excel, PPT, etc.;
• Responsible, proactive, detailed-mind, good analytical and interpersonal skill, self-disciplined and well-organized;
• Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua.
