Job Description - Legal Counsel

Main Responsibilities:

To provide legal advice on all legal matters in general and prepare and review bank documentation (in particular, for corporate loans and wealth management products), procurement/service contracts and other legal documentation for Dah Sing Financial Group ("Group").
To identify, analyse and manage legal risks and provide legal advice to the Group's management on those risks.
To manage and liaise with external lawyers and other legal service providers.
To provide legal support on ad hoc projects as requested.

Requirements:

Qualified solicitor of Hong Kong with at least 10 years' PQE in a reputable law firm and preferably, not less than 1-year experience in the legal department of a financial institution or regulatory authority.
Experience in handling documentation for corporate loans and wealth management products.
Experience in advising on listing rules compliance, ISDA documentation and insurance policies/reinsurance treaties will be an advantage but is not essential.
Ability to read and write both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
Self-motivation and ability to work independently and as a team.
Ability to supervise fellow professionals.
