Legal Counsel, Asset Management, Fund

Seeking a Legal Counsel with strong fund formation experience, especially in SFC‑authorised funds and QDLP structures. You will support fund launches, regulatory matters, and ongoing legal documentation across the platform.

• Handle fund formation work: LPAs, IMAs, PPMs, subscription docs, and side letters.
• Support setup and maintenance of SFC‑authorised funds and ensure compliance with UT Code requirements.
• Advise on QDLP fund structuring, offering, and cross‑border regulatory issues.
• Review distribution, custody, admin, and service provider agreements.
• Partner with investment, product, and compliance teams on regulatory and product matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel on authorisations, registrations, and filings.
• Manage legal risks and support SFC-related inquiries or inspections.

• Hong Kong or common‑law qualified lawyer.
• 5-10 years' PQE in funds or asset management (private practice or in‑house).
• Strong experience in fund formation and authorised fund products.
• Prior QDLP/QFLP exposure preferred.
• Solid understanding of SFC Type 9 regulatory requirements.
• Strong drafting skills; Chinese language a plus.
