Legal Counsel - Leading Technology Company

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Advisory: Provide legal support on company law matters and advise on corporate transactions and commercial operations.
• Contracts Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize diverse agreements such as vendor contracts, service agreements, partnerships, and licensing deals.
• Process Efficiency: Create and maintain standardized contract templates to streamline workflows across business units.
• Strategic Advisory: Deliver clear, practical legal advice to management and operational teams on corporate and commercial issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Hong Kong and international laws, proactively monitoring regulatory changes.
• Company Secretarial Support: Assist with board and shareholder matters, filings, and other secretarial duties as required.

Requirements

• Hong Kong-qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong background in general commercial and contractual work, gained in private practice and/or in-house.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach.
