Leverage Finance Associate / VP, Leading Global Buyout Fund

Our client is one of the leading global buyout funds with a strong investment track record across APAC and global markets. They are hiring a Leverage Finance Associate/ VP to support the firm's financing activities and portfolio management.

Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets, you will support the structuring and execution of leverage finance transactions for the firm's private equity buyout deals across APAC and globally; you will evaluate leverage financing proposals from banks, analyze terms comparison and support bank selection; you will support the negotiation of term sheets and legal documentation, FX/hedging arrangements, and deal closing logistics; you will monitor debt financing matters for portfolio companies, including financial covenant testing and information requests from banks; you will handle ad-hoc tasks including credit/capital market/macro updates and analysis.

Requirements:

• 2-8 years of experience in investment banking, leverage finance, DCM, or credit investment
• Solid knowledge and experience in credit (including but not limited to leveraged finance, structured finance, asset-backed finance, private credit)
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is a PLUS.
