Licensing Manager

Scope and Position Responsibilities:

• Liaise with IP licensors or agencies to secure business collaboration and partnerships.
• Negotiate and manage licensing agreements.
• Develop exclusive or Co-brand merchandise with licensors.
• Develop organize pop-up events with licensors or partners.
• Formulate strategic licensing strategies to maximize business opportunities 
• Expand existing licensing portfolio, sourcing, servicing, and negotiating with both potential new licensors and licensees
• Manage all licensed functions, including license agreements, approvals, renewals and royalty reporting 
• Develop strong relationship with both licensors and licensees, facilitating brand assurance process for all products and marketing materials 
• Collaborate closely with design, merchandising, and marketing for product development, brand awareness and positioning

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business / Marketing or related discipline
• At least 5 years working experience in Japanese IP licensing business.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience with handling multiple key anime IP licensors.
• Able to develop and execute successful licensing strategies.
