Linux Engineer - Global Trading Firm

This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who enjoy high-performance systems, automation, and solving complex infrastructure challenges in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Administer, patch, and optimize Linux servers (RHEL/Fedora)
  
• Tune systems, kernel, and networks for ultra-low latency performance
  
• Build automation tools using Bash / Python / Perl
• Manage configuration via Ansible / Salt
• Support virtualization platforms such as Proxmox / KVM / VMware
• Handle advanced networking (VLANs, bonding, SR-IOV, QoS, firewalls)
• Manage SAN / NAS / iSCSI storage environments
• Improve monitoring, resiliency, and production support processes
• Drive security hardening and compliance initiatives

What We're Looking For:

• 5–10 years of Linux Engineering experience
  
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, scripting, and performance tuning
  
• Hands-on with automation and infrastructure at scale
  
• Experience with containers (Docker / LXC / LXD)
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus
  
• Trading / financial services background is an advantage
