Job Description - Major Account Manager

Founded in 1998, Shiji’s aim is to become a “big data" application service platform operator. Shiji has become the leading manufacturer of Chinese hotel information systems after three successful transformations. At the same time, Shiji is gradually expanding from hotel to catering and retail industries, becoming the major software supplier to both industries. Now, Shiji is responsible for approximately 60% to 70% of the market share in the high end sector of hotel and retail industries, and possesses a leading position in the catering industry. The estimated annual revenue of Shiji clients can be more than RMB 5 trillion. Shiji has completed three successful transformations since its establishment. It is now experiencing the 4th transformation dedicating to be a “big data" driven consumer application service platform operator. Shiji has introduced consulting, IT solutions and data platform services. Job Descriptions

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and is capable to build-up and maintain business relationship with major clients, business partners and principals 
  • Professional execution on client projects & timely account managements. Ensure provision of client services are of a quality consistent with high standards
  • Liaising & coordinating smoothly with internal teams (project team, support team, sales team, development team, etc.) and external parties to ensure quality work delivered
  • Serve as the escalation point for any items within the account
  • Organize operations review meetings on a regular basis 
  • Develop opportunities for value-added services with clients

Requirements

  • Degree holder is preferred
  • Candidate has hotel operation (F&B/ Rooms/ Event Management), or IT work experience is preferred
  • Candidate has experience with Hotel POS and PMS system is preferred
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Proficient in MS Words, Excel and Power Point
  • Well-organized, flexible and self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic and changing team environment is essential
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with people at all levels
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Major Account Executive
