Job Description
Transaction Execution
- Support execution of DCM transactions including
- Assist in preparing pitch books, term sheets, and investor presentations
- Coordinate due diligence, documentation, and approval processes with legal, compliance, and syndicate teams
- Track deal timelines and ensure smooth execution across multiple stakeholders
Market & Credit Analysis
- Conduct market updates, comparable issuance analysis, and pricing benchmarks
- Perform issuer credit analysis using financial statements, rating agency reports, and industry data
Origination Support
- Assist senior bankers in preparing client pitches and relationship materials
- Maintain client database, deal pipeline tracking, and internal reporting
Internal Coordination
- Liaise with syndicate desk, sales & trading, research, and risk teams
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain transaction documentation and internal systems accurately
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment, preferably in an operational support role.
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- A strong sense of responsibility and a proactive attitude.
