Job Description - Manager, Finance Operations

Your new company
A leading insurance broker company who provides discreet, professional advisory services tailored to individual and corporate needs is now looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join and grow their team.

Your new role
Finance Operations & Process Management

Manage daily finance operations including premium collection, policy accounting, commissions, claims payments, expense management, and general ledger activities.

Financial Reporting & Controls

Prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, and operational reports.
Ensure compliance with internal control policies, accounting standards, and company procedures.
Support internal and external audits, addressing findings and implementing remediation actions.

Regulatory & Compliance Support

Support finance-related regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. Insurance Authority reporting, statutory returns).
Ensure adherence to relevant local accounting and insurance regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with compliance and risk teams to maintain robust governance standards.

Systems & Data Management

Manage financial systems and ensure data integrity across policy administration, claims, and accounting platforms.
Participate in system enhancements, automation initiatives, and finance transformation projects.
Implement and review system automation for workflow.

What you'll need to succeed

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CPA/ACCA/HKICPA preferred
6+ years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry
Strong knowledge of insurance finance operations and accounting principles
Experience with financial reporting & internal controls
Proven ability to improve operational processes
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder communication
