Job Description - Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Duties:

This role concentrates on three key areas: financial planning and budgeting, balanced scorecard (KPI) development, and performance tracking.
Serve as a reliable finance partner and advisor to designated business units, delivering regular financial analysis and monitoring budgets, while providing insights on key trends and emerging issues.
Assist in developing KPI frameworks to support the Bank's strategic priorities and business objectives.
Establish and recommend best practices for revenue recognition across products and business segments.
Contribute to financial system enhancement initiatives, utilising data analytics tools to improve reporting accuracy and drive automation.
Ensure management information is accurate and up to date, and implement appropriate controls to safeguard data integrity.
Support ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in the banking or financial services sector.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CIMA, CFA, CFP, or AHKIB are advantageous.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capability to interpret financial and management data with solid business insight.
Proactive in challenging existing processes and driving simplification and automation initiatives.
Self-driven, innovative, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in report writing in both English and Chinese, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Fluent in spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is an added advantage.
