The Job

• Conduct annual/quarterly, and monthly financial reporting
• Manage month-end closing activities, including preparing and reviewing accounting journals, reconciliations, and monthly management reports
• Handle regulatory and group reporting, external audits and statutory filings
• Address ad-hoc requests from FWD Group and perform other duties as assigned by the senior managers or above
• Play a key role in implementation of new system changes

The Person

• CPA qualification and degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in financial reporting or regulatory compliance
• Solid knowledge and technical skills in IFRS17, IFRS9, HKRBC, and proficiency in Oracle
• Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Quick learner with the capability to teach and mentor others
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
