Job Description - Manager, HR Talent Acquisition, Commercial Bank

Your new company

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Manager to join a well-established Commercial Bank in Hong Kong. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment activities across the bank while partnering closely with business leaders and HR stakeholders to attract, engage, and hire top talent.The successful candidate will play a key role in developing effective recruitment strategies, enhancing employer branding initiatives, and supporting talent pipeline development through campus recruitment and overseas hiring projects.

Your new role

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce planning needs and recruitment priorities.
Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract high-calibre candidates across banking and corporate functions.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and external recruitment channels.
Lead and coordinate graduate and campus recruitment programmes, including university outreach activities, career fairs, internship programmes, and employer branding initiatives.
Support overseas recruitment projects and develop sourcing strategies to attract international talent where required.
Monitor recruitment metrics and market trends to provide hiring insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Work closely with internal HR teams to ensure a positive candidate experience and smooth onboarding process.
Partner with recruitment agencies and external vendors when necessary to achieve hiring objectives.
Ensure recruitment processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's Degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant Talent Acquisition experience gained within a sizable bank, financial institution, or multinational financial services organisation.
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of banking and corporate functions.
Exposure to campus recruitment programmes and graduate hiring initiatives is highly preferred.
Experience in overseas recruitment or regional talent acquisition projects would be a distinct advantage.
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple hiring projects simultaneously.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
Knowledge of local banking market trends and recruitment best practices is preferred.
