INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICE
Manager, Internal Audit (23240710)
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in conducting risk assessments and formulating strategic work plans;
- Leading, planning and performing audit assignments and being actively involved in reviewing internal control systems, risk management processes and corporate governance practices;
- Preparing internal audit reports and making practical and value-added recommendations for continuous process improvement and adoption of best practices;
- Preparing management reports; and
- Carrying out ad hoc assignments and providing advisory service when required.Occasional travelling to PRC is required.
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree with relevant accounting qualifications such as CPA or equivalent;
- Have at least eight years of experience in external and internal auditing, preferable in sizeable organisations or public accounting firms, of which at least four years at supervisory level;
- Proven experience in performing operational audits is essential;
- Knowledge of COSO framework and experience performing audit committee secretariat work will be advantageous;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Self-motivated, willing to accept new challenges and able to manage multiple assignments under pressure; and
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years.Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
