Manager, Internal Audit (Life Insurance)

Summary
My client is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join their Internal Audit team, focusing on the life insurance business. This role offers the opportunity to provide independent assurance, strengthen governance, and support sustainable growth in a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Planning: Develop and execute risk-based audit plans covering life insurance operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
  
• Operational Review: Assess the effectiveness of processes including underwriting, claims, policy administration, and distribution channels.
  
• Risk & Control Evaluation: Identify emerging risks, evaluate internal controls, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, including AML/KYC and solvency standards.
  
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present audit findings to senior management, provide actionable recommendations, and monitor remediation progress.
  

Qualifications

• Solid experience in internal audit, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
  
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in audit related functions
• Strong knowledge of life insurance operations, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
  
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CAMS are highly desirable.
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
