Manager, Internal Control and Operational Risk Management

China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited (“China Life (Overseas)”) with presence in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Indonesia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Life Insurance (Group) Company, China’s largest financial insurance corporation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of internal control and operational risk management framework including planning, policies, guidelines, SOPs, and other related analysis


• Coordinate with functional units and external parties to facilitate the development of internal control and operational risk management framework and execution of internal control and operational risk management plans


• Conduct internal control and operational risk assessments to identify deficiencies and evaluate the effectiveness of functional units' remediation


• Initiate internal control training to enhance the control awareness throughout the organization


• Perform assessments to identify, measure, evaluate, monitor operational risk


• Prepare regular internal control and operational risk reports


• Accomplish any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Risk Management/ Finance/ Accounting


• At least 6 years of experience in risk management, internal control, audit, accounting or finance in financial sector, preferably from insurance/ Big4 audit firms/Commercial Bank  (Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager)


• Technical skills in relation to management and monitoring of internal control and various operational risks


• Sound sense of internal control, analytical, interpersonal skills, self-initiative, open-minded, detail-oriented and independent


• Proficient in English and Chinese character typing and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio


• Good command written and spoken in English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
