We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Investment Governance Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• Oversee overall investment governance matters, with scope includes but not limited to:
  • Governance committee/forum matters
  • Regulatory compliance and reporting matters
  • Investment Policy and Risk Mandate matters
  • Investment Management Agreement and outsourcing management matters
  • Internal Control matters .
• Optimize investment governance model in alignment with Group Insurance 's blueprint. Build and maintain a sound investment governance framework for all investment matters and ensure corporate governance standards are met.
• Work with investment team and investment operations team to oversee and support the investment management information reporting and monitor the fund performance against the benchmark and risk limits set out.
• Act as an escalation point for proper issue management and handling.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, Actuary, Finance, Product, Risk, Group Insurance and other areas in relation to the investment governance matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in within the insurance industry, exposure to investment field preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to think "outside the box" and conceptualize solutions to complex issues

• Experience in investment governance or risk management as part of their day to day operations

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

• Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure

• Proficiency in both English and Chinese

• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
