Job Description - Manager, Marketing (Credit Card and Loan Business)
Job Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end marketing plans for credit card and loan products: Define positioning, target audience (e.g., young professionals, middle-class families), and promotion channels (digital platforms, offline partnerships, branch campaigns).
Drive customer acquisition & activation: Launch campaigns (e.g., new card sign-up bonuses, loan interest discounts) to attract qualified users; collaborate with sales teams to convert leads into active customers.
Optimize channel performance: Manage digital channels (social media, search ads, fintech platform partnerships) and offline channels (branch displays, corporate client workshops); track ROI and adjust resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
Analyze market & competition: Monitor industry trends, competitor product features (fees, benefits, promotion tactics) and customer feedback; iterate strategies to maintain competitive advantages.
Ensure regulatory compliance: Collaborate with risk control and legal teams to ensure all marketing materials/messaging comply with financial industry regulations (e.g., clear disclosure of loan interest, fee terms).
Lead cross-functional execution: Coordinate with product, IT, customer service, and sales teams to ensure smooth launch of marketing campaigns; track key metrics (acquisition cost, conversion rate, loan disbursement volume) and report results to management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields; master's degree is a plus.
3-5 years of marketing experience in banking/financial services, with proven track record in credit card or consumer loan product promotion.
Strong strategic thinking: Ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing plans.
Digital marketing proficiency: Familiar with fintech marketing channels (e.g., banking APP operations, social media for finance, affiliate partnerships) and data analysis tools (Excel, Google Analytics, CRM).
Regulatory awareness: Deep understanding of financial industry regulations (e.g., consumer credit disclosure rules) to avoid compliance risks.
Excellent communication & coordination skills: Ability to lead cross-departmental projects and negotiate with external partners (e.g., merchants, fintech platforms).
