Job Description - Manager, Partnership Development

Position Overview:



Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with professional investors, specialize in serving high-net-worth clients, to perform the role as wealth advisor or investment advisor. 



Key Responsibilities:




  • Client Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with clients by understanding their financial goals, needs, and risk tolerance. Providing personalized advice and tailored investment solutions to meet their objectives.

  •  Business Development: Identifying and acquiring new high-net-worth clients through networking, referrals, and other business development strategies. Building a pipeline of prospective clients and expanding PI customer base.

  • Cross-Selling and Relationship Expansion: Identifying opportunities to cross-sell other investment products and services.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies. Conducting due diligence on clients and monitoring transactions to mitigate risks associated with money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Staying updated on market trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities. Conducting research and analysis to provide informed investment recommendations to clients.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborating with internal teams, such as investment advisors, legal and compliance, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. Coordinating with various departments to address client requests and resolve issues.

  • Client Service and Retention: Providing exceptional customer service and personalized attention to clients. Addressing client inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive client experience to foster long-term relationships.

  • Performance Reporting: Providing regular performance reports to clients, summarizing the performance of their investment portfolios and progress towards financial goals. Conducting portfolio reviews and presenting investment recommendations based on market conditions.

  • Relationship managers play a crucial role in understanding and meeting the unique financial requirements of high-net-worth individuals, providing personalized advice, and delivering exceptional service to build long-lasting client relationships.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field is often required. Master's degree in finance or an MBA is preferred.

  • 5+ years experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related field, such as experience in financial advisor, investment analyst, or relationship manager. Experience in client acquisition, portfolio management, and financial planning is valuable.

  • Relevant industry certifications, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA).

  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies is essential. A strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio management, financial planning, and risk management.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Be able to effectively understand client needs, provide personalized advice, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
