Manager - Pricing (Freight Forwarding)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and have completely understanding of pricing mechanism in Air Freight business in Hong Kong & S. China area
• Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation, manage total pricing procedure to enhance profitability
• Ensure timely turnaround of rate requests
• Handle customer's RFQ / RFP and RFI
• Work closely with global sales team and offices to identify and capitalize on strengths/overcome weaknesses in terms of pricing and service compared to our competition
• Align professional pricing and service guidelines in conjunction with sales and operations objectives in order to win the business and unlock new business opportunities
• Monitor the success rate of all quotations & RFQs
• Yield Management using Pricing as a tool

Requirements

• Degree holder with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in international freight forwarding industry / operational transportation or logistics industry, with exposure in China market is an asset
• Demonstrate strong leaderships and negotiation skills with self-motivation, problem solving abilities and a “hands on” mentality
• Highly developed persuasiveness and influencing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese, including Mandarin
