This role is responsible for leading the product initiatives of General Insurance products from strategic planning to product implementation with special focus on product development and marketing perspective to support achievement of the company’s goals
Job Responsibilities
Manage and develop product including conduct market research, consider customer segment, design product features and offering, and implement end to end product development process Formulate product strategy to ensure it is in line with the company strategy and capture target customer segment Drive product marketing initiatives, support continued evolution of product value proposition and enable appealing product promotion Leads product portfolio management/development which covers market intelligence collection, product competitiveness review and liaison with various stakeholders to cover digital/system development, underwriting, administration and claims. On top, works with Actuarial Services Team on product healthiness management Develop online and offline sales tools as well as conduct product training to facilitate and nurture agent in selling GI product as well as subsequent cross-selling Develop and review pre and post-sales marketing and policy materials to ensure fairness to customer is well observed and liaise with various stakeholders for approval in accordance with corporate governance, compliance and regulatory requirement, to support product deployment Develop go-to-market strategy to enable distribution sales, as well as upselling which forms part of the product launch and offer Job Requirements
University graduate in Marketing or Insurance equivalent Professional qualification in insurance industry (LOMA or ACII of ANZIIF) is preferred 8-10 years relevant experience in Product Development or Marketing for insurance products, with at least 3-4 years of managerial role, experience in Life insurance are also welcome Commit to excel in life and self-driven Possess good inter-personal skill, enjoys meeting and working with people of different background and the ability to communicate effectively Possess strong experience and skills in marketing insurance products, able to make sound and high impact decision Demonstrate quality leadership and ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders Demonstrate willingness to work with others as a team under a high pressure environment Be excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in PC skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
