Job Description - Manager, Product Marketing - Institutional

About the Role


This role sits within the Product Marketing team at OSL, focused on driving engagement and acquisition across OSL’s institutional product suite. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at our institutional clients. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of digital asset products and services combined with institutional client needs. You will closely collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, and Product teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns that align with business objectives. Your efforts will be pivotal in enhancing OSL's market position, driving product adoption, and achieving growth targets for our institutional offerings. Additionally, you will provide valuable market insights to inform product development and strategy, ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of institutional clients while maintaining regulatory compliance. Your ability to create compelling messaging, execute data-driven campaigns, and foster strong cross-functional relationships will be key to your success in this role.



Key Responsibilities



  • Go-to-market strategy:

    • Spearhead strategic initiatives alongside our institutional team to propel OSL’s products into our target audience.



  • Product positioning:

    • Craft narratives that not only differentiate OSL’s but also embody the vision we have. 



  • Market research and competitive analysis:

    • Stay updated on industry trends and customer needs.

    • Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies that are geared towards institutional clients.



  • Content creation and management:

    • Create marketing collateral (decks, datasheets, case studies, blogs, ad copies, etc.) that reflect our brand and positioning for institutional clients.



  • Performance analysis:

    • Monitor and analyse institutional marketing campaign performance.

    • Optimise strategies based on data-driven insights.




Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • 3-5+ years of product marketing experience in Crypto / Web3, TradFi, or FinTech

  • Proven track record in institutional product launches and marketing

  • Self-starter and ability to build from scratch: be ready to roll-up your sleeves and get things done

  • Strong product sensibility and growth mindset–always being able to think beyond the task at hand

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong command of Mandarin and English

  • Knowledgeable about Hong Kong regulations
