The Strategic Procurement is responsible for the management of a wide range of purchasing activities which help to sustain the Club's daily operations and major community development projects.
The Job
Support large and complex cross departmental tenders and procurement projects Ensure project execution and procurement activities in compliance with the Club’s Procurement Policy and in alignment with the best industry practice Lead and support global strategic sourcing for all aspects of corporate services, including but not limited to corporate travel, consultancy services, transport and logistics, and security services, within the organization and obtain the best option for the Club Lead and conduct commercial and T&Cs negotiation with suppliers Contribute to the on-going improvement of the procurement function Manage stakeholder and supplier relationship Handle ad-hoc purchases or projects as assigned Assist in maintenance & update of the Club’s Procurement Policy and Procedures
About You
Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related disciplines Professional qualifications of CIPS and/or CPSM will be an advantage Category knowledge on corporate travel, consultancy services, transport and logistics, and security services Sound knowledge on procurement control and governance, purchase orders, contract establishment and execution etc. At least 5 years of related work experience in sizable organization Positive working attitude with strong analytical skills Take personal responsibility and accountability for own work Good communication skills, and being proactive, mature & self-confident Proficiency in MS office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) For candidate with less experience, he/she will be considered for the role of Assistant Procurement Manager.
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
