Job Description - Manager to Senior Manager, Strategic Audit(Internal Audit Department)

Manager to Senior Manager, Strategic Audit (Internal Audit Department)

Job Responsibilities

Perform strategic audits covering bank-wide strategy planning, alignment, implementation, monitoring, and performance evaluation; identify value enhancement opportunities with industry best practices
Conduct audits of operations, finance, and other key functions to assess the effectiveness of internal controls
Liaise with department heads on critical findings, articulate risks, and propose suggestions to safeguard Bank interests
Deliver advisory services for new product/service development to mitigate material risks
Assist in developing audit methodologies and tools to enhance team capabilities
Promote robust control culture and ensure key risk control measures are in place
Develop and maintain positive relationships with business/support units of the Bank, external auditors and regulators, presenting a professional image
Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior team members to sustain high audit performance standards

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or related fields
CPA, CIA or equivalent qualifications required
Minimum 6 years' audit experience in financial institutions or accounting firms
Demonstrated expertise in strategic audits and value creation audits
Strong understanding of banking operations and regulatory frameworks
Ability to transform audit insights into value creation opportunities
Excellent communication, persuasive and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Maintain high level of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality and competency
Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua essential)
