Managing Director Fundraising & Capital Development

A well-established investment platform backed by a leading Chinese family group is seeking a senior fundraising leader to spearhead capital formation and investor relations efforts across both public and private market strategies. The firm has a strong capital base, a diversified portfolio, and an active presence in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

The successful candidate will play a core role in raising external capital and expanding the firm’s AUM to support its growth and investment initiatives. This position offers both strategic influence and the opportunity to work closely with the leadership team to shape the firm’s long-term fundraising platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead fundraising and capital formation initiatives across public and private market products.
• Identify, engage, and secure commitments from institutional investors, family offices, and HNWIs.
• Develop and maintain strong investor relationships and manage ongoing communications.
• Work closely with the investment team to craft clear, impactful fund positioning and materials.
• Contribute to strategic planning and product development based on market feedback.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10–20 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, or capital development within asset management or alternatives.
• Established network of LPs, family offices, and institutional investors in Asia and/or globally.
• Proven track record of bringing in new capital and growing AUM.
• Confident communicator with strong commercial instincts and an entrepreneurial outlook.
