Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the corporate banking division, overseeing key client relationships and driving strategic growth initiatives within the organisation's local corporate segment. The Managing Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s market presence, managing high-performing teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 20 years of experience in Corporate or Institutional Banking
• Proven leadership in managing senior bankers and driving team performance
• Deep expertise in syndicated loans, structured finance, and large corporate client coverage
• Strong market knowledge across Greater China and APAC region
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage front office teams, including team heads across corporate banking functions
• Drive strategic growth in syndicated loans and large corporate coverage across Hong Kong, and APAC
• Oversee client relationship management, deal origination, and execution of complex financing solutions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure business goals and regulatory standards are met
• Maintain regular communication with headquarters to align business strategy and report performance
• Take ownership of frontline hiring, including recruiting Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts to support business expansion

Requirements:
• Right to work in Hong Kong
• Extensive experience in corporate or institutional banking, with strong leadership credentials
• Market knowledge across HK Blue Chips and APAC
• Track record of successful team management and business development in banking
