Manger/ AVP, Internal Audit (Treasury Focus)

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute audit assignments focused on treasury business activities (e.g., trading in FX, Money Market, Debt Securities, and Derivatives) and related risk management functions (e.g., Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, FX Risk, IRRBB) to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and internal control frameworks for treasury products, systems, and operations.


• Assess key risk areas and propose corrective actions to mitigate potential risks.


• Prepare concise audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations.


• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to improve internal controls, operational efficiency, and risk management processes.


• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of audit assignments.


• Undertake ad hoc tasks or reviews as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.


• Relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, FRM, or ECF-TM are an advantage.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, market risk management, or treasury operations within the banking industry. Candidates with external audit experience specializing in Financial Services will also be considered.


• Solid knowledge of treasury products, valuation methodologies, and treasury management systems (e.g., FIS, Murex).


• Strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a thorough understanding of risk control.


• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.


• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
