About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Investment Bank with global presence.

Currently, they are looking to hire an experienced Margin Risk Associate (First Line of Defense) to join their team in Private Wealth Management.

Job Description

Monitor and review PWM client portfolios, including the oversight of daily margin levels, limit breaches, and collateral maintenance.
Investigate drivers of exposure changes-such as market movements, collateral fluctuations, and trading activity-and assess their impact on credit risk metrics.
Support internal stress testing and scenario analysis processes.
Communicate risk insights, breaches, and data issues clearly and proactively to sales teams and senior stakeholders.
Ensure alignment with PWM risk management policies and adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance monitoring tools to strengthen proactive risk oversight.
Contribute to the development of risk technology initiatives and longer-term enhancement projects.

The Successful Applicant

Relevant degree
3-5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, credit advisory, or risk management.
Knowledge of multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, listed and OTC equity derivatives, FX, funds) is advantageous.
Strong analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
