Your new role
As a Market Risk Associate, you will support daily market risk monitoring and reporting across trading and investment portfolios. You will work closely with Front Office, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure risks are identified, measured, and escalated in line with internal frameworks and regulatory expectations.
Key responsibilities include:

• Daily monitoring of market risk metrics (VaR, sensitivities, stress testing)
• Analysis of limit usage, breaches, and risk movements
• Preparation of risk reports for senior management and committees
• Support risk-related projects, model reviews, and regulatory requests

What you'll need to succeed

• University degree in Finance, Risk Management, Mathematics, or related discipline
• 2-5 years of experience in market risk, treasury risk, or trading risk within a bank
• Solid understanding of market risk concepts (VaR, Greeks, stress testing)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; VBA or Python is an advantage
• Good communication skills and ability to work with front office stakeholders
