Marketing and Training Executive

BEAM Society Limited (BSL) is an independent, non-profit membership organization established in 2010. BSL is also recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap112) and as a public body under the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap 201) since 2016.

BEAM Society was established in 1996, which was later incorporated in 2010 as BEAM Society Limited. Being the developer and owner of the Building Environmental Assessment Method (BEAM), BSL is committed to administering and developing the BEAM Plus Assessment Tools. We offer impartial assessment on building sustainability and build capacity by providing training for BEAM practitioners – BEAM Professionals (BEAM Pro) and BEAM Affiliates.

Responsibilities

1. Liaise with both internal and external parties regarding CPD , site visits, conference, training and examination;
2. Maintain the daily operation on online training portal and membership e-platform; Handle candidates’ applications and enquiries;
3. Support event management of marketing and membership events;
4. Support BSL’s communication channels such as website and production of marketing collateral; 
5. Provide secretarial support to committees;
6. Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor Degree, preferably major in Marketing, Journalism or business related;
2. Experience in advertising agency and event management is a plus;
3. At least 3 years of relevant experience;
4. Experience in event management, branding building and execution;
5. Good team player with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
6. Proactive, flexible, self-motivated, fast-learner and able to adapt in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a can-do attitude;
7. Familiar with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Analytics;
8. Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills;
9. Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin;
10. Knowledge in IT skills, graphic design and video editing software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, etc) would be an advantage.
