Marketing Officer

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to our target audience of children and teenagers, highlighting the educational and entertainment value of our mystery story collection

Collaborate closely with the editorial team to understand the essence of each story and craft compelling marketing narratives

Research and analyze market trends, reader preferences, and competitor strategies to inform marketing strategies

Identify target audiences and create tailored marketing campaigns to engage and expand our readership

Campaign Execution:

Design and manage engaging marketing campaigns that bring the magic of our mystery stories to life

Utilize both online and offline channels to reach readers, combining social media engagement, email campaigns, and targeted local events

Create captivating marketing materials such as book trailers, social media graphics, banners, and advertisements

Write compelling copy for promotional materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding

Digital Marketing & Social Media Engagement:

Develop and implement social media strategies to build a strong online community of young readers and fans

Create and curate engaging content, including visuals, videos, and interactive posts that resonate with our target audience

Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments for optimization

Stay updated on digital marketing trends and explore innovative ways to reach readers online

Offline Promotions:

Organize and execute offline events, book signings, workshops, and community engagement activities to foster a sense of connection between readers and our mystery story collection

Partnerships and Collaborations:

Identify potential partnerships with schools, libraries, youth organizations, and bookstores to expand our reach and engage young readers

Requirements

DSE / Form 5 or above

5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong track record of promoting products to a young audience

Passion for children's and teenagers' literature and an understanding of their reading habits

Creative mindset with the ability to create engaging and captivating marketing content

Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling copy and content

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

Fluency in English and knowledge of additional languages is advantageous for international market exploration

Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
