Mathematics and Science Teacher

We are seeking a motivated Mathematics and Science Teacher to teach students across Years 7–9, supporting lower secondary learners in building strong foundations for future IGCSE studies. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons in both Mathematics and Junior Science, encourage academic progress, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics and Science across Years 7–9
  
• Prepare students for progression into IGCSE programmes
  
• Plan lessons, assessments, and classroom activities
  
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
  
• Maintain strong classroom management and student engagement
  
• Support school events, enrichment activities, and extracurricular programmes
  
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents where required
  

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field
  
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, QTS, or equivalent)
  
• Experience teaching Mathematics and Junior Science at secondary level
  
• Familiarity with IGCSE curriculum and lower secondary progression
  

Preferred

• International school experience
  
• Experience within UK curriculum or international school settings
  
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
