Job Description - ​​Membership Marketing Specialist​

Role Introduction

Reports To:  Member Marketing Manager

The Member Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Membership Marketing Manager in driving brand awareness and consideration for the Cathay Membership Programme; locally in Hong Kong and supporting the Regions globally. S/he will be responsible for supporting the wider membership marketing team in owning and optimising the content and communications strategy.

S/he will be confident in working independently but also, with other business stakeholders to maintain and optimise performance of communication hallmarks whilst working in partnership with the wider CRM team to manage, optimise and drive better efficiencies in all member communications and journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management and execution of the member engagement strategy for our customer relationship programme.
  • Consolidate and independently execute the delivery of mass and segmented communications to drive long-term engagement of members
  • Accountable for owning the creative asset library for membership marketing assets for always-on campaigns as well as full-channel content and communication activation
  • Own the channel, content and communications calendar between internal and external stakeholders
  • Support and lead reporting of member communications and engagement performance for tactical and existing campaigns
  • Collaborate with wider CRM team to have overview of member journey and lifecycle to create and A/B test new targeting segments, retargeting offers and customised content
  • Proactively analyse post-campaign report and performance tracking to evaluate campaign effectiveness
  • Benchmark competitor loyalty programs – both travel and lifestyle – to ideate and find ways to contribute to constant improvement of all membership touchpoints and offers
  • Requirements

    List requirements for the position:

  • University degree in Marketing, Business or other related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in loyalty, CRM, digital marketing or communications
  • Experience working with Salesforce marketing cloud, Adobe Product suite and external vendors & agencies
  • Strong command of English, Chinese and Mandarin (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent worker yet highly collaborative team player
  • Strategic thinker yet creatively wired with experience in content creation and copywriting
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
