Network Engineer Leading Global Consultancy - J12806

Our client, a premier technology consulting firm, is seeking a driven Network Engineer to take charge of complex infrastructure projects. In this position, you will be instrumental in architecting and optimizing large-scale connectivity solutions, ensuring high availability, and enforcing robust security across diverse enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the end-to-end deployment and administration of large-scale infrastructure, encompassing LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewall systems.
2. Perform advanced configuration and diagnostics on multi-vendor routing, switching, and security hardware.
3. Oversee enterprise wireless environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
4. Drive proactive system monitoring and incident resolution to minimize disruptions and maintain high SLA standards.
5. Partner with cross-functional IT teams and external service providers to execute infrastructure upgrades and new technology rollouts.
6. Act as the senior escalation point for complex connectivity issues, delivering timely support to business users.
7. Define and enforce IT security frameworks while continuously evaluating emerging networking trends to future-proof the environment.

Qualifications:

1. 3 - 6 years of solid experience in engineering and supporting complex enterprise network infrastructures.
2. Extensive hands-on background in core routing, switching, and wireless protocols, specifically BGP, OSPF, HSRP, IPSEC, QoS, and 802.11.
3. Proven exposure to modern networking architectures, including SD-WAN implementations and Cloud connectivity.
4. Strong grasp of enterprise security best practices, policy creation, and firewall administration.
5. Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to system optimization.
6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors and support internal stakeholders.
7. Prior working experience within the aviation, travel, or hospitality sectors is highly regarded.
8. Language: Fluency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese is a must.
