Job Description - Network Firewall Engineer

A leading global bank is looking for a Network Firewall Engineer to join their Network Operations team. You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining critical firewall infrastructure within a large-scale, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions
Provide support for BAU (Business-as-Usual) firewall operations
Troubleshoot and resolve network security and firewall-related issues
Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and compliance requirements
Contribute to ongoing network optimization and improvement initiatives

Requirements

5-8 years of experience as a Network / Firewall Engineer
Strong experience in firewall design and implementation within enterprise environments
Hands-on expertise in:
- Fortinet
- Checkpoint
Proven experience in vendor management within in-house teams
Track record working in large, enterprise-scale organizations
Solid operational (BAU) and troubleshooting capabilities
Experience in financial services is a plus (not mandatory)

Language Requirements

English: Mandatory
Cantonese: Nice to have
