Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support high-impact digital transformation initiatives within a leading Financial Banking environment. You will bridge business and technology teams, translating business needs into clear requirements and practical solutions while supporting delivery from initial analysis through testing and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define business problems, objectives, scope, and success metrics.


• Gather, analyse, and document clear and testable business requirements.


• Map current and future-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions.


• Facilitate workshops and discussions across business, technology, operations, and other stakeholders.


• Support Agile delivery, including backlog management, sprint planning, and refinement activities.


• Conduct change impact assessments and support business readiness activities.


• Support SIT/UAT, including test preparation, defect tracking, and resolution.


• Prepare business documentation and support implementation, handover, and post-go-live activities.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within banking or financial services.


• Proven experience supporting digital transformation or technology-driven programmes.


• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution definition.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.


• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.


• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery tools.


• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.


• Retail Banking / Wealth Management experience is highly preferred.


• Fluent English required; Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred.


• SQL or data analysis experience is advantageous.
