A leading global professional services firm is seeking an experienced Talent Senior Manager – Employee Relationship Expert to join its Talent team in Hong Kong. This individual-contributor role is central to maintaining a fair, respectful and inclusive workplace culture across Greater China. Working closely with employees, managers, Legal, Compliance and Global HR, you'll lead the resolution of complex internal disputes in Hong Kong while providing remote advisory support to HR and business leaders across mainland China — navigating sensitive, high-stakes situations with neutrality, empathy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end resolution of complex, sensitive and high-risk internal disputes in Hong Kong, ensuring timely, fair and compliant outcomes


• Serve as a trusted advisor and neutral facilitator between employees, managers and other stakeholders


• Apply in-depth knowledge of Hong Kong employment law, internal policies and employee-relations best practice to guide resolution strategies


• Provide remote support and guidance on dispute-resolution matters involving employees and teams in mainland China


• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Global HR teams to manage cross-border and multi-jurisdictional issues


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of dispute-resolution processes and tools


• Deliver training and coaching to HR business partners and managers on proactive conflict management and early intervention

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology or a related field


• 10+ years' experience in HR, employee relations or internal dispute resolution, preferably within a multinational organisation


• Proven track record handling complex, high-pressure and confidential cases in a professional services or similar environment


• In-depth understanding of Hong Kong employment legislation and labour practices


• Demonstrated ability to work across cultures and jurisdictions, with experience supporting operations in mainland China


• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with strong emotional intelligence and cultural awareness


• Native Cantonese - Proficiency in English and Mandarin essential
