About our client

A global supply chain and sourcing organisation is hiring a senior executive to lead operations and business transformation across its international footprint, reporting to the top of the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead major change programmes that raise productivity, speed and scalability, setting roadmaps, governance and success measures that deliver lasting results


• Work with technology leaders to expand automation, AI use and data-led decision-making, and streamline processes across regions while leaving room for local and customer-specific needs


• Create group-wide operating standards, KPIs and performance management routines that strengthen accountability and consistency


• Gain clear, global visibility of supplier capability and capacity, and put mechanisms in place to track supplier health, operational risk and continuity


• Improve delivery reliability, lead times and logistics performance, and resolve significant cross-regional execution issues


• Oversee the operational set-up of new customers and new commercial models, ensuring contracts, systems, processes and partners are ready


• Coordinate supplier onboarding, development and exit with commercial, quality, compliance and regional colleagues


• Track trade and market developments and advise on their impact on sourcing strategy


• Deliver selected strategic priorities sponsored by the CEO

Requirements

• Degree in business, supply chain, operations, project management or a related field


• Substantial senior leadership background in operations, transformation or strategy within a complex, multinational business


• Track record of redesigning operating models across several functions and markets


• Strong analytical mindset, using data to solve problems and guide decisions


• Skilled at influencing and building alignment with senior stakeholders, and leading effectively in a matrix structure without relying on formal authority


• Pragmatic, commercially aware and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through


• Experience in apparel, sourcing or supply chain environments is a plus
