The Graduate School is dedicated to advancing the University’s strategic vision by providing exceptional administration for research postgraduate education. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative team player to join our dynamic postgraduate administration team and contribute to the success of our programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Student Lifecycle Management: Support the administration of the student lifecycle for research postgraduate programmes, including admission, enrolment, registration, and graduation;


• Data Management and Vetting: Conduct thorough vetting and verification of student records to ensure accuracy and compliance, and consolidate and maintain reliable data for programme administration;


• Reporting: Compile and analyse statistics and prepare reports; and


• Other Tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; 


• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in postgraduate programme administration, or expertise in managing spreadsheets and databases;


• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);


• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork;


• Analytical Mindset: Good analytical skills and a strong sense of responsibility; and


• Adaptability and Initiative: Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach in handling various tasks and challenges.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.


The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
