Job Summary:
The Process Automation Infrastructure L1 Support team under the System & Network Operations department is responsible for managing the round-the-clock, 24x7 operations of HKEX enterprise systems. The team plays a critical role in ensuring the availability, resilience, and stability of systems supporting market operations, while continuously driving process improvements and adopting new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

HKEX is seeking a high calibre candidate for the role of Infrastructure Support Officer to provide first-line technical support for infrastructure, applications, and production systems. The role involves monitoring system alerts, managing incidents, executing operational tasks in accordance with defined procedures, and supporting change and release activities across multiple environments.

In addition, the role requires coordination and governance capabilities, including maintaining project and operational records, tracking budgets, purchase orders, and documentation to support effective delivery, audit compliance, and operational transparency.

Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Work closely with infrastructure subject matter experts and application developers to gain in-depth knowledge of system and application relationships and dependencies in order to arrange system deployment, testing, UAT and production release schedules.
• Coordinate multiple teams and departments (Infrastructure, Applications, Operations, Vendors) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and help to keep track of order records.

Change Management:

• Ensure all application changes, system deployments, fixes and patches are released with testing completion, UAT signoffs, production releases schedule confirmation.
• All issues reported during testing and UAT phases are resolved and being tested with positive results.
• Check and verify change requests to ensure approvals from relevant parties are included.

Incident Management:

• Keep track on all reported problems, identify problem owners, ensure they are being handled or in progress to be handled with resolution timeline.
• Understand the ITIL incident management lifecycle, ensure works and processes are ITIL compliance.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education with minimum 3 years of experience in technology project management.
• PMP and ITIL certifications are desired.
• Past working experience on technology in financial industry would be an advantage.
• Understand the concept of IT Service Management (ITSM), with experience on using ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI, VBA or other scripting languages would be a plus.
• Attention to details and ability to follow complex procedures and handling complex data.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, concurrently handle multiple projects coordination, work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
