Our client is seeking an experienced professional to manage the Operational Due Diligence (ODD) process across prospective investors, existing clients, and counterparties. This role will act as the central point of coordination for all operational diligence-related inquiries, working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and high‑quality responses.
The position sits at the intersection of client services, onboarding, and sales support, and is well suited to candidates from funds of funds, private banking, hedge funds, or private equity environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Due Diligence (ODD / DD)
Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational due diligence requests from institutional and private investors, consultants, and counterparties
Manage and coordinate responses to ODD questionnaires, DDQs, RFPs, and ad‑hoc information requests
Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and transparency in all diligence materials
Client Onboarding & Relationship Support
Support client onboarding processes, including operational, compliance, and documentation workflows
Partner with Relationship Managers, Sales, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to gather and validate information
Act as a trusted operational contact for existing clients, helping address ongoing diligence inquiries
Cross‑Functional Coordination
Coordinate internal resources across the firm to ensure efficient and timely completion of diligence requests
Build and maintain a centralized knowledge base of ODD materials, policies, procedures, and historical responses
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve ODD and onboarding processes
Stakeholder & Risk Awareness
Develop a strong understanding of the firm's operating model, controls, governance, and risk framework
Identify recurring diligence themes or potential operational risks and escalate appropriately
Stay informed on evolving investor expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Required Experience & Background
5+ years of relevant experience in Operational Due Diligence, Client Services, Investor Relations, Onboarding, or Sales Support
Prior experience gained from one or more of the following environments:
Funds of Funds
Hedge Funds / Asset Managers
Private Equity
Private Banking
Institutional Investment Platforms
Hands-on exposure to institutional and/or private client due diligence processes
Strong understanding of operational areas including trade operations, valuation, compliance, risk, technology, and business continuity
Skills & Attributes
Exceptional project management and coordination skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly explain complex operational topics
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple parallel diligence processes
Confident engaging with senior internal stakeholders and external investors
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
