Operations Officer

Citybus is a market leading operator of public transport services operating over 1500 buses and employing over 5000 colleagues across our organization to serve the community. The role:

• Monitor bus service level, ridership and driving safety
• Supervise and assess the performance of frontline staff to deliver quality bus service
• Implement improvement measures for daily bus operations
• Plan and execute special service operation arrangement for special / festive events
• Investigate and analyse customer’s complaint and cause of service inadequacy
• Deploy work orders to frontline staff. Communicate and arrange jobs / duties to frontline staff
• Communicate with Government Department and other external stakeholder on latest local traffic development / traffic management proposals
• Provide innovative ideas for improving the business
• Provide support on other operations initiatives and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisors

Skills and attributes:

• Degree holder in the field of Business, Transport, Logistics or relevant disciplines
• At least 2 year’s working experience in operations management or service industry
• Preferably familiar with Road Traffic Ordinance and bus operations related regulations
• Keen interest to pursue a career in the bus industry
• Able to work independently and perform multi-tasks
• Strong personality with initiative and leadership ability
• Active, outgoing and willing to work with a large group of people
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Proficient with computer operation and Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Power Point etc.) 
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese
• Possession of Class 1 & 2 (or above) driving license is preferred
